Ewan Stickley

Ewan Stickley is Senior Training Associate at Thrive (as well as Director of Flying Fish Consulting) who brings over 12 years’ experience in the field of leadership and team development. He offers expertise in facilitation, coaching and psychometric profiling. He’s passionate about supporting leaders in optimising strengths to achieve outstanding performance. Ewan previously held senior management positions at Walt Disney World, Pret a Manger, Arcadia Group and Pentland Group (Speedo, Lacoste and Berghaus). At Pentland he was Global Head of Talent Management and Leadership Development.

As an executive coach, Ewan has supported many leaders in achieving their goals mainly using a strengths-based approach. He is an ICF-accredited coach with a diploma in Advanced Executive Coaching from the Academy of Executive Coaching. Ewan's recent coaching assignments include career development and transitions, interpersonal effectiveness, strategic thinking and business growth.

In his team and leadership development programmes he combines experiential learning with real business issues to ensure the training is practical and relevant. Ewan’s’ facilitation style is energetic, engaging and always memorable.

He is a member of the British Psychological Society and is accredited to use a number of psychometric tools, including: MBTI, Facet5, Hogan, FIRO B, Strengthscope, the RQi and Savile WAVE. Ewan has also worked with a number of 360 degree feedback tools, including: Leadership Versatility Index, and Strengthscope 360. Ewan has played an instrumental role in helping Thrive develop the Resilience Quotient Inventory (RQi), a ground-breaking psychometric tool.
